Emo-Func (Emotionally-Functional) costumes make visible the disempowering thoughts we have about ourselves day to day. 

These costumes were worn as part of a series of live, improvisational performances developed out of conversations between the performers and artist, exploring daily disempowering thoughts and how they manifest physically, emotionally, visually.

This performance was reprised in part for the Every Woman Biennial in 2019 at LaMama Gallery in Manhattan, NY.
